Acting, Singing & Dance Classes — Ages 4-18, Carlisle & Penrith

At ACT Youth Theatre, we offer acting, singing and dance classes for young performers aged 4 to 18 across Carlisle and Penrith — from drama and musical theatre to contemporary dance.

"From contemporary dance to full-scale musical theatre, our classes emphasise expressive movement, voice, acting technique and stagecraft.  — all with the goal of helping them shine in front of an audience."

Based in Carlisle (Currock Community Centre) and Penrith (Penrith Rugby Club), we provide a creative, professional environment where students build confidence, stage presence, and performance skills.

Performance Opportunities.

Every year, ACT Youth Theatre produces two major shows: a summer musical production and a spectacular Christmas showcase .

These productions give our students real theatre experience, building their understanding of what it takes to put on a show.
